They were at 20% before at around 1800RPM both, and couldn't hear them. They stop at 0%, but again I don't want to have my fans not spin at all. It didn't help with my temps and even worse : my fan speeds are now wrong.īasically, they always spin at 2696RPM for my CPU and 2840 for my GPU, whatever fan speed i set in Dragon Center (with the advanced profile). So anyway, I found a video from Gamers Nexus which shows how to update the EC & BIOS firmwares on an MSI gaming laptop, and decided to do the same thing. ![]() Also repasted and still hitting 90?C, seriously! Did undervolting, setting a custom Fan curve, playing with Windows' power plans, nothing really helped. I purchased an MSI GS65-8RE recently and having really high CPU temps, I've searched on google for hours on a solution.
